Mervin K. Lentz

Mervin K. Lentz, 93 of Cornwall, formerly of Mount Gretna, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022. Born Friday, June 21, 1929 in South Annville, Twp., he was the son of the late Jacob and Cora (Kreider) Lentz. He was married 71 years to Irene M (Deitzler) Lentz.

Mervin was a retired German/Spanish teacher for Palmyra Area School District. He served as a West Cornwall Twp. Supervisor and was a member of the Mount Gretna Tabernacle Association, Camp Meeting Association and the Volunteer Fire Company. He most enjoyed traveling with the love of his life, Irene.

In addition to his wife, Mervin is survived by a brother Wayne Lentz and wife Ann of Virginia; a sister Dorothy Lentz of Virginia and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister Beulah Long.

A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, August 12, 2022 in the Chapel at Cornwall Manor, 1 Boyd Street, Cornwall, PA 17016 at 11:00 AM. Viewing will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service.  Interment will take place in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.
