Mae A. (Ryan) Singer

Mae A. (Ryan) Singer, 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Quincy Retirement Village, Waynesboro.  Born Friday, May 11, 1934 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Robert S. and Anna Elizabeth (Hawthorne) Ryan.  She was married to the late Roy David Singer. 

Mae retired from the Marriott Hotel (formerly Howard Johnson) in Middletown where she worked as a cashier and cook for over 27 years.  She enjoyed crafts and jewelry and she was an avid reader.  Above all, she will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

She is survived by her children: Gina “Debbie” Walderman, of West Virginia; Athena Starliper, wife of David, of Shippensburg; Veronica Ann Black, wife of Eric, of Orrstown; Wyatt Wolf, husband of Virginia, of North Port, FL and Eric Wolf, husband of Brenda, of Loysville.  Also surviving are numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and a sister, Shirley Santiago, of Harrisburg.  She was preceded in death by a son, Kevin “Kenny” Mohr; partner, Leroy Reigle; two brothers, Robert and Richard Ryan and a sister, Jean Esbenshade.

There will be a viewing held on Monday, May 8, 2017 from 1:00-2:00 PM at the Fager-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 208 North Union Street, Middletown, PA 17057, 717-944-7414.  Graveside Services will follow at 2:30 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 4855 Londonderry Road, Harrisburg, PA  17109.
