Joshua A. O’Brien, 33, of Steelton, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at home. Born August 22, 1985 in Hershey, he was the son of Tammy E. (Murray) Love of Harrisburg and Roy O’Brien and his wife Mel of Middletown.
Joshua earned two Bachelor degrees and a Masters degree in Political Science. He worked in finance for numerous political campaigns and also served as a constable. A Boy Scout, Joshua earned his Eagle Scout and was a member of the Order of the Arrow. He was also a Dallas Cowboys fan.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister Erika Love of Harrisburg; two step sisters: Jennifer Livering of Elizabethtown and Amber Hollingsworth of Camp Hill; a step brother Justin Naccarato of Middletown; maternal grandmother Patsy Murray of Harrisburg; paternal grandfather Robert Wood of Middletown and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Middletown Cemetery, 675 North Spring Street, Middletown, PA 17057 at 11:00 AM. Immediately following the graveside service, relatives and friends are invited to a time of remembrance at the Lower Swatara Fire Hall, 1350 Fulling Mill Road, Middletown, PA 1057.
