Janet Irene (Figard) Corrie, 97, of Middletown, PA, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 6, 2017, at The Gardens of Camp Hill.  Janet was born in Six Mile Run, PA, on January 16, 1920, and was the daughter of the late R. Raymond Figard and Esther Mae (Mort) Figard.  She was the widow of Quentin Corrie, who preceded her in death on September 4, 2000.  Janet was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening.  In her earlier years she enjoyed helping with many Vacation Bible Schools.  She was of the Protestant faith.

Janet is survived by two daughters, Connie May Corrie and Janet Tinnia Corrie Eisenhower (Lee), both of Mechanicsburg, PA; a son, Quentin Rick Corrie (Betsy Beard Corrie) of Vienna, VA; a grandson, Paul Corrie of Washington D.C.; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Corrie Greenhill of Ashburn, VA; two great-grandsons, Quentin and Preston Greenhill; and many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Janet was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruth and Naomi Figard and Loretta Ruby (whose husband Lester survives), and five brothers, Donald, Robert, Charles (whose wife Helen survives), Franklin, and George (whose wife Alverta survives).

Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Fager-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (formerly Coble-Reber) 208 N. Union St., Middletown, PA 17057 with Pastor Mel Weaver of Grace Chapel officiating.  Family and friends are invited for visitation from 11 AM until time of the service.  Burial will follow the service in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg, PA. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Grace Chapel, 2535 Colebrook Rd., Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
