Fernando Luis Munoz

Fernando Luis “Charlie” Muñoz, age 77, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 11, 2018, in his home with family by his side.  Born Wednesday, July 30, 1941 in Coamo, Puerto Rico to the late Victor Muñoz and Amanda Cruz-Muñoz.  He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Darlene (Ridley) Muñoz.

Charlie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at his cabin in New Germantown, PA.  He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.  Charlie was a kind, outgoing individual who was known and loved by all.  He will be deeply missed.

In addition to this wife he is survived by his children, Margaret “Margie”, Mark, and Amanda Muñoz and David Alvarado; grandchildren, Jeffrey Muñoz, Emilia Reyes, Daniel Alvarado, Derek Alvarado, Axavier Colon-Muñoz, Armani Colon-Muñoz, and Kaden Pontz; great-grandchildren, Aviana Muñoz and Emir Gray; siblings Hector, Jose Antonio “Tato”, Lillian, Blanca, Julie, and Miguel Muñoz, and Maria “Nini” De Los Angeles.  He is predeceased by his brothers Noel and Edwin Muñoz.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 11AM at the Fager-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 208 N. Union St., Middletown, PA 17057 with Reverend Harold Fox officiating.  A time of viewing will be held from 10AM until the time of the service.  Burial will follow after the service at Middletown Cemetery, Middletown.
