Clyde was my buddy. We met in 2002 in Hershey, PA. I was a first time park performer, performing 5 shows a day, 6 days a week in the Country Show. Clyde was there for most of them! He brought us cookies that his "sister made", and the more I ate them, the more he brought!
Clyde was a one of a kind. My dad would say about Clyde, "Us grumpy guys need to stick together. I like that guy." Clyde was genuine and tough, and had a heart of gold. I will miss him more than I can say.
I will never forget how he helped me over the years and how he somehow always managed to keep in touch. He kept me up to speed on his grandkids' lives and always spoke so highly of his children. He was so proud of you all. So proud of who you all have become.
He was my friend.
My heart is heavy tonight and will be for some time. May he rest in peace. May he sing and dance in happiness, in the next life. Clyde, I love you.
I am sending my love and condolences to his family and friends. I am so very sorry for your loss and I hope that you find peace in knowing he was appreciated, respected and loved by so many.
All My Love to you.
