Virginia Lee (Vance) Shotzberger

Virginia Lee (Vance) Shotzberger, 82, of Duncannon, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 7, 2019. She was born Friday, July 2, 1937 to the late Ora and Kate (Day) Vance.  She is predeceased by her loving husband John F. Shotzberger Sr.

She was a seamstress with a passion for her work.  She also enjoyed her gardening in her spare time and had a true love for flowers.  She was a former member of the Perry Valley Gange. Most importantly she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.

She is survived by her children: Donna Notestine, Sue E Shotzberger, and John F. Shotzberger, Jr.; grandchildren, Cory, Joe, David, William, and Mason; 9 great grandchildren; and a brother Allen Vance.  She is predeceased by a grandson, Marshall Shipman, 5 brothers, and 3 sisters.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 11 AM at the Fager-Finkenbiner Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 208 N. Union St., Middletown, PA 17057 with Reverend George Yerger officiating.  A viewing will be held from 10 AM until the start of the service.  Burial will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Logania Church, 211 Loshes Run Rd, Duncannon, PA 17020
