Margaret Ann (Shadow) Gobble

Margaret Ann (Shadow) Gobble, 86, of Middletown, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 27, 2017 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.  Born Thursday, August 14, 1930 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Minnie N. (McClintock) Shadow.  She was married to James E. Gobble for over 47 years until his death on February 26, 1997.

She is survived by a son, John R. McVey, of Middletown and a daughter, Lynne A. Snyder, wife of William, of Enola.  Also surviving are two granddaughters, Elisabeth Rainey, wife of Kevin, of Enola; Gwyneth Snyder, fiancé of Clark Brothers, of Lewisberry; two great-grandchildren, Lewis Rainey, of Enola and Brynlie Brothers, of Lewisberry as well as Margaret’s extended family and caring friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, February 3, 2017, at the Fager-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 208 North Union Street, Middletown, PA  17057, 717-944-7413 with the Reverend Samuel D. Fry officiating.  A viewing will be held from 10 AM until the time of the service on Friday.  Private burial will take place in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.
