Clyde Junior Chestnut

Clyde Junior Chestnut, 79, of Middletown, passed away in Boca Raton, FL on Thursday, April 27, 2017. Born Thursday, March 24, 1938 in Middletown, he was the son of the late Harvey and Ruth Chestnut.

A foreman, Clyde was retired from Armstrong Ceiling in Marietta. He enjoyed all sports, hunting, watching sprint car and NASCAR racing.  He loved musical shows, especially at Hershey Park and was frequently seen at Penny Arcades.  He was a collector of all sports memorabilia.  

He is survived by: Son, Todd Chestnut, Concord, NC and daughter Deanna and spouse Elias Zakharia, Boca Raton, FL. Grandchildren Zachary, Jordan and Landen Chestnut and Natalie, Mariah, Amber, Tiffany and Elianna Zakharia. Sisters Carolyn Updegraff and Caroline Kiem.

He was predeceased by brothers Donald and Marlin Chestnut and sisters Betty Williams and Margaret Estep.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Fager-Finkenbinder Funeral Home, 208 North Union Street, Middletown at 11:00 AM. Viewing will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will take place in Hillsdale Cemetery, Middletown.
